Description: We’re really looking forward to this show, as this will be the first show with bassist Mike Garrigan, thereby making Garrigan more… “Garrigan” – much in the same sense that Van Halen is more Van Halen since Wolfgang joined. Actually, it goes a bit deeper than that analogy for us.
Mike and I have decided to play songs from both of our catalogs within the live experience of “Garrigan” – so expect to hear songs from both the Poprocket and perhaps Collapsis eras. So we’ll both dig deep, and also showcase our newer material.
Mike, Shawn and I have been working to complete our (newly pushed to) February 2012 release (on Spectra Records) “Kiss This Broken Star”, and Mike and I are co-writing a concept album tentatively titled “Gas Giant Odyssey”. We’ll play a few songs from this project as well.
